Our Legal Assistants
PASTER, WEST & KRANER, p.c. employs several highly-trained legal assistants. Each of the firm’s legal assistants has significant experience in transactional commercial real estate matters. The legal assistants provide superior-quality support to the firm’s attorneys and clients and enable the firm to provide its clients with prompt, efficient service in a cost-effective manner.
Marla Wigginton joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in 2001. She has more than 30 years of experience in various areas of law and business with a major portion of her experience in commercial real estate development, management and operation. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the American Water Company as Manager-Administration and Facilities; The May Department Stores Company/May Realty as Director-Documentation; HBE Leasing as Manager-Documentation; and HBE Corporation as Legal/Real Estate Assistant.
Kimberly (Kim) Cheatwood joined the firm in 1990. Her experience at the firm as a Legal Assistant includes a broad range of commercial real estate activities, such as: real estate acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing and title work. She is also responsible for coordinating the firm’s corporate compliance work for its clients. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a loan officer for GMAC.
Cornelia (Corie) Summers joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in September 2004. She has approximately 19 years of experience in the legal field. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at GE Commercial Distribution Finance in St. Louis, Missouri as a senior transactional paralegal; at Kramer, Levin, Naftalis & Frankel in New York, New York as a securities and litigation paralegal; and at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Dallas, Texas as a litigation and bankruptcy paralegal.
